Photoshop Tutorial – Reflect Text

Blog, Photoshop

Sorry about the delay between tutorials.

I’ve been busy jumping around Texas providing training in various software applications.  Most of the training is Adobe centered, however I recently led a Camtasia and SnagIt workshop and also completed a few Microsoft workshops.  Busy…Busy…

Last week Adobe hired me to provide Adobe Acrobat training using their distance learning tool – Adobe Connect.  I usually train clients in a face-to-face atmosphere, but using Connect worked great.  Adobe has done a great job with this product.

On with the tutorial –

Learn how to add a reflection using Photoshop.  You can adapt this technique to just about anything, but I’ll be adding the reflection to a bit of text.  With a few transform tweaks, some opacity adjustments, and a blur filter or two, you can pull off a simple, yet effective reflection.
