One of the first things you should do when creating a Dreamweaver web site is to “Define” the site. Defining the site creates the root folder of your web site. The “root folder” is the folder that will contain ALL of the contents of your web site. You can also tell Dreamweaver how to connect to your web server (usually via FTP).
Your site’s FTP information will be provided by your web host.
