One of the great things about computer applications is that they are always evolving. Each new version offering better work flows, enhanced tools, and new features that can be applied to some wiz-bang project. However, it is often a daunting task to learn the basics, let alone all the new stuff.
I have to admit, the learning curve is steep.Today’s software applications have so many buttons and options that it is often difficult to figure out what they all do, and reading the manual, well, forget about it! The manuals stink! Fortunately, the Internet is a great medium for delivering instruction. On demand video allows you to pause, rewind, and replay instructional videos until you master the concepts.
Heck, nothing beats a good face-to-face learning environment where you can ask the instructor questions, but on-demand video is the next best thing.
Speaking of face-to-face instruction, if you need a good teacher with lots of patience please contact me. I travel all over the country presenting workshops and helping people learn software applications. If your organization ever needs to brush up on their skills, I’m your man…and I guarantee you’ll have a good time and learn a whole heap of great stuff!
